There is an anomaly in the Blue Badge scheme in that some councils such as Horsham Council in West Sussex, add a requirement that the holder should also be in receipt of the full attendance allowance. Only very recently have they added this information to their signage long before the requirement was put im place. This flies in the face of the spirit of the scheme which should be standardised for all. If we travel only a few miles out of the Worthing area where I live I must contact the Councils for that area to find out if tjey have any special requirements. This is an onerous task for people for whom there are enough difficulties in life. I would ask you to look into this and come back to me with your comments

I am trying to renew my badge. I foolishly thought it would be a simple task on line. But no, you have to fill in an application as if you are applying for the first time. Why??
I am very pleased that a check is carried out on people using a BLue Badge as I see them being abused on several occasions by people who obviously do not need one or just park in the disabled places because they car park is full.
