Meet The Team

We have a diverse and lively team, here are a few of us!

Ellen Green – Company Director

A graduate from Dartington College of Arts with a first class degree in Arts and Cultural Management, Ellen went on to be Business Manager for Power Amp Music, an Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) financing artists. The fund was an innovative alternative to record label funding, raising over £4 million and signing lucrative deals with artist such as Madness and Charlotte Church. In 2011 she made her first blue badge wallet and armed with e-commerce and online marketing skills, she executed the launch of the product, developing the sales channels and managing distribution. In spring 2013 Ellen's friend who had started the company stepped down to pursue another business and Ellen became Managing Director. When she’s not walking Bodhi, Ellen loves to swim, mountain bike and go running.

What's your favourite memory from your time with Blue Badge

My favourite thing would be the feeling of being included in society. Years of being my son's carer left me feeling isolated and guilty of not having a 'proper job' due to the unpredictable nature of my son's disability I could not commit to regular hours. Working for a company but from home allows me to work around his cares and has opened up a sense of belonging again.

At the grand old age of 42 I achieved my 1st Dan black belt in the martial art Tang Soo Do (Korean karate)!
