Warehouse Administrator

We are looking for an organized, confident and diligent person to join our fast-paced entrepreneurial business. We are looking for an experience dynamic team leader to work closely with the operations manager and have oversight of all warehouse functions.

You will be highly organised with administration and IT skills. You will be dealing with deliveries, logistics of outgoing orders and managing freight and bookings. You will maintain current stock records by updating systems when required.

This is a varied role which will involve organising the warehouse, picking orders, and liaising with team members and management. You will feedback customer’s comments, stock availability; current/overdue/outstanding orders.

Hours and Pay

  • Hours of work : Monday 9am – 5:30 pm, Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5:30pm
  • Number of hours: 35.5 per week at £15,000 per annum

What we expect from you

What we want is someone who is quick to learn and used to working accurately at pace. This role is suited to an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach. You will be adept at identifying and resolving issues and will have the communication skills and willingness to share your expertise with your colleagues.

Skills Needed

  • An understanding of production lines/setups
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

Business Development Manager

We are looking for someone to build relationships and new sales accounts by communicating enthusiastically the benefits of what our company does to prospective new customers and converting them to active sales accounts.

You will create new business as well as develop a growing portfolio of clients. Working closely with other team members, you will deliver high levels of service across a wide base of customers, boosting your results and growing our business. This role is suited to an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and calculated approach. Our successful candidate will be an astute individual, who is commercially minded and well versed in a client facing role. 

Hours & Pay 

37.5 Hours per week

Basic: £20k - £24k p/a going up to £40k OTE

What we expect from you

The main aim of this role is to generate new trade accounts and develop new business, both in the UK and overseas. Therefore, a high proportion of your time will be spent making daily sales calls, managing customer accounts and identifying new lines of enquiry. You will be comfortable making high levels of out-bound calls to close business over the telephone and keeping organised sales records. As we are a multi-channel retailer you should be committed to demonstrating excellent customer service and building brand loyalty across all areas of the business.

We are looking for someone who has an instinctive commercial awareness based on a history of strong numerical and analytical exposure. The need to interpret numerical data is a prerequisite of your skill set, coupled with sound visual marketing skills. These skills will enable you to discuss your performance with your managers in a cohesive manner, and ensure you offer advice on how to improve sales through sound commercial awareness and in line with company objectives.  You must be able to motivate yourself to achieve success and a creative flair would be advantageous, as would a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This is a desk based role is for 37.5 hours per week, however there will be felid based works, with a minimum of 3 trade shows a year and international travel. You will need to be able to work in an autonomous way, manage your own time and react to the demands of the role at short notice. This role requires regular extended travel, and so the ability to plan and organise trips in a cost effective way is essential. The role also allows for administration to be carried out at home, however there is a minimum expectation of 3 half days a week in the Office. The need to communicate with the Office and other departments is essential to the success of this role, so you will be a proficient communicator, both verbally and written.

This can be a fast paced role and is ideally suited to someone who has a genuine love for sales, a natural desire to succeed, but most importantly will not take themselves too seriously, and allows their personality to shine through.
