From Retail Ambassador Award to Products Featured in Women's Magazines. A Press Round-Up of Blue Badge Co Coverage this Autumn
Since our exciting article in the Telegraph, we've had a run of great Press coverage. This was largely thanks to our CEO, Ellen Green winning the WorldPay Everywoman in Retail Ambassador Award 2017, to be one of their 12 Retail Ambassadors. Other news finds Blue Badge Co included in women's magazine wish lists and Ellen Green talking at a Women in Business event. We thought we'd celebrate all this exposure by bringing it together in a Press Round-Up blog post!
Back in September, we were very excited that our CEO, Ellen Green was a finalist for two different awards! The award ceremonies were in the same week and we waited with baited breath to discover if she would win. She did! Ellen was named one of 12 Retail Ambassadors for 2017 at the Worldpay Everywoman in Retail Awards.
Various publications, online and in print, reported on Ellen's success as an everywoman in Retail Ambassador. Here's what they had to say about the Blue Badge Co CEO;
"Ellen, who has grown Blue Badge Co from a company run from a friend’s bedroom to a £500,000 business, was selected alongside leading figures from major national retailers such as Tesco, Amazon and Argos.
Each year the Worldpay everywoman in Retail Ambassador Programme chooses 12 women from across the UK as everywoman ambassadors to encourage more women to aim for the top jobs within the retail industry."

Women in Business Talk
On September 19th, Ellen was one of three speakers at a Women In Business event held by Red Door Coaching and Training at Bristol and Bath Science Park. We published her talk as a blog post after the event. You can read it here: Business Can Either Disrupt Or Be Disrupted.
The Gazette reported on the success of the event: "The free event, sponsored by South Gloucestershire Council, was opened by council chief executive Amanda Deeks, who welcomed 80 women to an evening of interesting speakers and networking opportunities."
